Decided to fish TROSA even though my expectancy was somewhat low as recent cold weather i thought would put the fish down .
I drove into the harbour area an on the BOHMANS hotel side there was several anglers and i saw two anglers catch as soon as i arrived however the fish they caught were Bream on lures and drop shotting and the Bream were obviously only interested in roe eggs to whatever has been breeding upstream , i expect Ide and/or Perch as the Trout bred a couple of months ago . But again with the Bream occupied taking 'goodies' they were not interested in any other bait , just like them being drugged on Joker in matches .
However as i tried feeder and pole fruitlessly i just watched as even more anglers (not talking Swedish or English) arrived with their rod lures and buckets and i watched a continual stream of captures as the bream came in hooked on the back , the belly and he tail . This made me sick to the stomach so here is a list of my observations;
- Bream unhooked on the concrete path and pebbles
- Some Bream had a foot placed on them so the lure could be ripped out , some used pliers
- Most Bream went into plastic bags without any limitation
- Bream went into bags without being despatched
- Bream not wanted were kicked along the floor into the water
- Bream flapping about in the buckets until they fell silent .
- Bream i saw caught , well at least a hundred or more.
- Fish care - ZERO !
- Fish mats - ZERO !
- TROSA Bailiffs ...........errrrrrrr ZERO !
- Looking at the anglers who turned up i would say hardly any have TROSA Tickets
- Some caught (sorry , foul-hooked) that many they were returning to their vans to empty the buckets !
- Some children fishing with their parents - great learning curve for them watching Bream football !
I honestly believe purchasing a fishing permit with TROSA is a complete waste of time . I believe also that the TROSA club have no appreciation for fish other than Trout , Zander , Pike and Perch , the rest are just shit fish and they have no care for them in fact i am sure they would encourage anglers to destroy as much as possible so to leave their prize fish . However i dont think our foreign friends would bother with the fish limits and take just as much as they can . When will TROSA start to realise that allowing this raping of their waters with sheer abandon and not stating fish catch limits and promotion of catch and release they will destroy their potential for membership fees.
Today i saw possibly three responsible drop shot anglers who were impeccable in their fish care but how long will they continue to purchase TROSA tickets if this carnage persists.
This is my last year i shall purchase the TROSA ticket unless they make a statement about sorting out the murder of TROSA Fish stocks is placed on social media as if they dont they will lose more anglers and the only ones left are the 'killers' who don't buy tickets ............sad day again at the TROSA slaughter house .

Any good Specimen clubs out there close to Sodertalje i would love to hear from and join them as i cannot stand to watch the complete and utter thuggery towards fish at TROSA .
