2023 - August 17th - Trosa

Decided to take a fishing session at Trosa which is the first time in 6 weeks i have been out !!! Trosa was the venue and i first checked out the weir at the top of the canal and that looked very fast water is i decided on fishing the calmer water in the town where the harbour area widens .

At arrival there was still many boats parked up and i manged to find a gap to fish in. I set up a feeder at about 18metres , a whip at 5-6m and a pole line at 11m . Fed all three initially and waited .......... ummm after 15 minutes not a sign however i persisted with topping the areas up and shortly after i started to take a few roach . Dead maggot was no good as it just attracted bleak so corn it was. For about 2 hours i caught Perch (4 ) on the corn !!!! , never known that before . I also had Bjorkna , skimmer and two juvenile Bream with Roach and an Ide . Total weight estimated , about 4 kilos.

My boat next door   (in my dreams !)

Not a bad catch for 4 hours fishing
