2013 July - Fishing the Greenhill AC at the Thurlaston Lake and Moat complex

Tremendous elation at my return to the GAC waters at Thurlaston as this is where i grew up in fishing . Not only here but on the 2 rivers we used to control and all the match fishing we have undertaken since the club's conception in 1975 . Emotional return to the Lake and Moat complex where i enjoyed the match fishing and being Junior Match secretary for a few years when i had 73 juniors including my 2 girls .

The lake which has 21 pegs and is 'full' of carp and roach ,Crucians and Perch.

Moat Peg 7 ......Pretty as a picture !

Got set up and decided to fish 11-13m with light DINO floats on 015/0.13 to a 16s DRENNAN hook.

Fantastic array of water plants

Rudd hand size - beautiful markings.
