Once again i ventured to Trosa after Borko gave me a call to see if i wanted to go there . We met about 09:30 time , started to fish quite quickly and continued till about 14:30 .
Borko had purchased the day ticket and i already have a years membership . For anglers like us with much equipment the window of opportunity to fish is small due to the later start of the fish moving onto feed and the period when the boats start to populate much of the river/canal/harbour area. However once you have purchased and found the time to go the fishing, it is very productive and certainly worth the money you pay for the membership/day ticket.
I started out on flat float and 2 whips at 4 and 5m using EXNER 'Lucifer' river whip floats and a EXNER 'Delta' 8gr flat float.
It took about 10 minutes to connect onto our free offerings and after that it was insane fishing as i on the whip and Borko on a short feeder line started to amass a lot of silvers , mostly Roach with Bjorkna making an appearance later with the odd Ide and Bream.
Weather was quite pleasant at first wit the sun starting to shine through but later the sea breeze became stronger and very cold ........as could be seen with wind-burn faces !
