2024 - April 12th - Trosa - i need a bagging session

Trosa is truly a great place to get some serious weights of fish as the window of opportunity is so small due to weather , boat traffic in the Summer and a ridiculous closure of the season on September 14th . The places to fish are very sparse so for the angler like myself using lots of equipment its hard to get setup knowing i might get moved by a boat wishing to moor in the place i chose .

Today i decided to fish the corner where in the past i have had many large weights of fish . Its an easy peg to fish at just 4-6 m out at 1.5m deep. 

I decided to use 4 whip arrangements , 2 with elastication and 2 direct. Floats were EXNER Lucifer of 1.5 and 2.0 gr . Also a DH Stick of 4x10 and a DH Heavy stick at 3gr - all worked well

I decided to try the pole feeder and first cast my top 1 section decided to break - i could not believe it , strange for a no1 to break ???

I caught mostly Roach of size which were so deep bellied and fat , staggering amount of them. 

The local Trosa Boys were pleasure to talk with and so helpful and kind - credit to their parents for bringing them up , great to see.
