2023 - Viewing of the canalised river at Ayelstone prior to the Wigston AC January 7th Mick Holohan Memorial match - Mick Carr report

Decided to give it a walk down at Ayelstone to see the state of the river . It was very coloured but within its banks so all bodes well for a weeks time as long as the rain stays away .










Good peg over the years with roach to punch and Perch to the worm




There was reports in the week that pole feeder was working well and Paul Taylor had shipped out a 5lb Chub.




Canal Barge has become part of the nature - maybe home for Otters and Pike  ðŸ˜†ðŸ˜†ðŸ˜†ðŸ˜†






Look forward to the competition as over previous years it has been tough but some one will always have a few good weights .
