26th June - Sodertalje canal - early morning session before the heat arrives

With no match at the weekend i decided to fish my local canal since it is only some 400 metres away . The weather has been very hot and humid so i was hopefully an early morning visit whilst cooler would benefit the fishing .

I decided to place the box in the water as it was suitable with all the small shingle stones so a firm base was realised plus better for the immersing of the keep net plus i like to be close to the water with the added advantage the ants would have to swim to get me πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Still no breeze as i was hoping for that cooling wind plus to help the fishing .

Well , what an incredible start as soon as i administered several cupped balls of gb/leam/corn/chop worm they were on the feed direct ! In the first hour i had at least 10 good size Bream of about 500 to 1500grams  and a splattering of good dumpy roach plus a few Perch .Bait was generally three maggots but occasionally i used two pieces of worm

Soon we hope to organise a match on this match length so we keep you posted .
