First day in 2022 at the Sodertalje canal just 500 metres to travel ( i dont even get into 3rd gear ! ) . I sat in one of the usual pegs of the 50 peg match length , the weather was warm , wind was changeable but manageable . I mixed a 2kilo Bag of MIVARDI Black with half bag of leam . Bait was maggot and pinkie. Started by potting in 5 balls initially with dead reds mixed in . I only set the one initial rig which was a Maurizio Schiepatti Delta 2.0 gr to SENSAS 6110 hook on 0.8 bottom in a top 6 fished at 11m .
First drop in i took a small Perch then another then a small roach however the wind got stronger and the tow was not helping so i changed to a 6.0 gr Jean Francois which steadied the float down much better . I then proceeded to catch steady for 2 hours , just roach and Perch, Then i took an Ide with another straight the way so i decided to spray some maggots over the area , i took yet another Ide and bigger roach then came in complimented by a bream-skimmerish of about 1.5lb then a Bjorkna then further roach . Completed my 4 hours so packed up and took a video of the catch .
Next day is a match in Kristenehamn
