Since my accident and feeling better to get out and fish matches i decided to fish the Litzell-Family invitation match somewhere past Jönköping on the way to Borås !?
I travelled Friday night and went straight to my lodgings . Saturday morning it only took 10 minutes to this exclusive private venue

Henrik and Ludvig showed me around the venue , this is Peg 5 and guess what , i drew it !
Great friend Per-Erik and for first time to meet Sandor from Denmark. Also nice to see Charles and Clas again as not seen them for a few years.

Peg 5 ...... i was advised to fish 11m out plus margins and possible 'long-line' to the pads
It started well as i had three carp in first 30 minutes and lost one on the paste. The wind came and spoilt presentation so i decided on starting a 3+2 then a 2+2 on paste which yielded a further 10 carp however there were long blank spells in the ever increasing rain. I probably missed several bites and lost just the two fish . I located no fish in margins or even the long line to the Pads.
I fished MATRIX Margin , Paste and F1 floats on mostly 0.18 MATRIX line to GURU S MWG Barbless size 12 and 14's barbless.
Used my new MATRIX XTR500 with 5 top 2's using MATRIX 10-12 , 12-14 , 14-16's elastic.
Bait was SONUBAITS MUSSEL for the paste and SONUBAITS Feed 2mm pellets in a flavour (shhhh)
Enjoyed the fishing as it was my first time on a Swedish Carp venue and i had not fished paste for years since being on English commercials.

Sandor from Denmark only fished method all day and had a commendable catch
Emil also started with a big carp but like most on the left hand pool it was tough at times

Huge thank you to Henrik and Ludvig for helping carry my gear back as my left knee is not good . After the match as i started to walk back with my hands full of gear to the car and my left knee just gave away and i fell to the ground on my left shoulder !!! .....i managed to get up but clearly my left knee is not right. When i got back to the hotel i noticed the swelling was up .
Sunday morning and my knee is not the best of condition and its uncomfortable when i walk as i cannot get the knee joint moving as normal . I decided to contact Henrik and inform him i shall go home. Tomorrow i must make an appointment to have the knee looked at as i want to get fixed before going to Gotland.
