2018 - Scania Lake , Södertälje - Sunday 12th August

Decided to get 4 hours fishing in today as limited time till get back to Blighty . I normally go to the best Bait person in the whole of Sweden : 'METMASK I BORLANGE AB' run by Russel Hopkins but i only decided on Saturday so i went to the local tackle shop in GNESTA there i purchased 25 worms and approx. 250 maggots ......Det kosta 90 SEK ( approx £8-00 ) , expensive in UK terms but Sweden has a much lower activity in fishing using live baits than most other European countries .

Got to the lake and started in my usual peg fishing a line of 12m and another at 7m

Menu on the day was VDE Turbo Black with dead maggot , hemp , and Corn

A lot cooler day of about 17 degrees compared to the last 3 months of incessant Heat in the 28-33  Degrees region.

The day was hard and for the 4 hours of fishing the bites were slow however you could see that the last few days rain had caused the Lake to go gin clear as the green-tinge had disappeared .

2 rigs : SENSAS PIESTANY 2.0 gr 0.16/0.12 to SENSAS 3405 14 in 2.5 metres
            SENSAS ABBIEVILLE 1.5 gr 0.15/0.10 to SENSAS 3411 18 in 1.75 metres
