2013 June 9th - day in the fishing office

Today i was selecting the best method of connecting the DINO Slider float range . The Brass - ended Slider- Carbon is okay but the thicker SLIDER CHAMPION CARP and BREAM are a little problematic as the current available 'market' connectors are just under strength for the task. However i have managed to make my own courtesy of the Carp angling fraternity.

If you drop into your local (well stocked angling shop) you should find products like the Tail Rubbers and Anti tangle sleeves from those nice carp people at JRC , KORDA , PROLOGIC etc... .

I find these have a great taper on them so they are large enogh to fit onto the slider but also narrow one end to fit a small eye swivel , either force fitted tight or/ and glued in .

SORTING OUT MY WHIPS FOR FYRISAN

LOOKING INTO MY BOX  ........

My sliding tray and essential items are the Preston Exceed lines , ZLT shot and antiseptic foam for my hands as there is so much disease on the river bank and water these days , you have to be careful.

2nd level is olivettes ,silicone , hookes of various types and various attachments.

3rd level contains an assortment of more hookes , attachments and feeder pots
