2025 - April 3rd - Trosa

Exceptional warm weather had descended upon Central Sweden and the window of opportunity beckoned as the coming weekend looked rather grim with cold and wind !?!?! 

Fave place on the corner was commandeered again when i arrived about kl 09:00am , i was fishing by 09:45am ish .....first 5 casts was 5 roach .....this place is insane!

Glorious Trosa - Mecca of so many species of fish and rich in weights to earn.

With so many Ide thrashing the surface i tried up in water tactics but it failed however i changed to 6m whip and took the only stamp Ide of the day

 

Some of these Roach were staggering with many in the 1-1.5lb bracket (450-700gr ) A few were approaching 2lb (900gr) 

Net 1 about 100 fish plus a good ide for about 20 kilos (45lb) 

Net 2 - a lot more fish and more weight as it was a struggle to lift up - i estimated about 150 fish for about 35 kilos (75lb)
