Saturday is a open match on the Piren organised by Mats Larsson however we had nobody else wishing to take part , just i and Mats . To potentially run another match here before year end we decided that Mats will fish the Piren and i fish in the town near the bridge. I arrived at 07:30am and set up a feeder rod and started about 08:15am. I had about 25% of my fish on feeder but close in as i had nothing further out but i needed a 60gr Korum feeder to hold bottom as there was an unusual strong flow from the town all day.

With such a strong flow in the river it was impossible to fish as you really need a 50gr Flat float ! But i had calmer water on the corner of the boards so i made use of it. After lunch i accelerated with the catch rate. Later Mats turned up after he fished the Piren so we could compare how it fished today . Both of us had located small fish and no large Bream or Ide had shown.
End of the day saw the capture of 150 . Many Roach , Bjorkna , Ide , Hybrid , skimmer , roachrudd hybrid , Herring and Big Bleak.
