The annual Fur and Feather match ran by WIGSTON AC is a must fish competition . Its not the fishing that really matters as its the event of the day with warmth banter and laughter at the morning breakfast to the evening results and prize draw . The competition organiser front man is Adam Nurse (UK COLMIC manager) and his team (Wigston AC committee) always put a great day on and this is complimented with the use of the MANOR restaurant .

Match completed and it fished hard for the majority. I returned my 10 punch roach caught down the track and one small Perch bottom of the near side ledge. Most of the lads did say they caught early unless you were on a 'ball' of fish of course.
Another Xmas match over and now to look forward to the Mick Holohan Memorial match taking place in January on the Canalised river section at Aylestone . See you there guys !
