2023 - May 13/14th Nykoping Feeder match

The annual Feeder match at Nykoping is a great leveller and with expected Big weights the 15 anglers descended to the venue . The attendance less this year due to other matches taking preference for some at Lidan and Soderhamn .

As usual Metmask provided the best bait and also on display was all the finest tackle from the MATRIX PRESTON GARBOLINO churches.

Before the start of the match i took a walk

Esa on Peg15 is the most easiest peg to sit on as it had less mud and is mostly shingle ..........to the right all the way up to the canoe station is the same .

To summarise :

The venue is getting tougher to set up your arrangement and if your platform is not of the best then you have immediate failure in the deep silt . The conditions are made worse by the continual back and forth in the water setting up and the twisting and turning places a heavy burden on the body , especially as you get older.
With this in mind concerning the difficulty in setting up and having the best platform possible it was agreed between the organisers to split the match next year into two matches . The first match can be on the existing match length but a second match on the match length nearest the car park end will be conducted . This allows some of use the benefit of wading out on gravel and no fouling weeds thus providing an easy way to set up and sit comfortable .
Prior to this match pleasure sessions on the length realise some 30 kilos !!! So with this in mind to give comfortable fishing to some of us who are less stable or less in good platforms a chance to fish in a match .
