2021 - Sodertalje kanal - 10th August

My original destination of Trosa was visited however recent rains had sent the canal/river section up with brown pace water so optimum positions to fish were taken by moored boats . So i decided to return home and fish the local canal as it represented a depth i expect to fish too at Norrkoping this coming Sunday 15th August.

I managed to fish 5 hours for a Bucket of mostly dominated by Bream and only a few Roach in the last 15 minutes . Just now the kanal is dominated by skimmers and bream more than i have ever known . So this catching of the Braxen bodes well for the future of Sodertalje kanal fishing. 

I estimated a weight of about 9-10 kilos and they were returned with no fatalities 

All fish swam away no problem which is always a nice feeling that you have looked after the fish in the best way possible
