Trosa - East coast of sweden - fishing heaven

Trosa a small town on the east coast of Sweden is a small idyllic place with a beautiful small canal going through its centre.....In March when the snows are melting this is the first place to head for as the IDE are coming !!!
 But in the summer its beautiful and the IDE stay around , see previous article :

At the top of the canal is a small weir , its beautiful and full of fish and great for stick-float fishing a small 5 no4 stick float !!

Downstream there is alot of weed on the far side with many bream hanging around the fringes.

Set up for the day !

Nice mixed bag of roach,rudd,small Ide,Bjorkna and a dace-looking fish and a few perch for about 7-8 kilos

Back there in MARCH and AUGUST - for sure !!
