Every year in Sweden an individual championship takes place and to qualify for this grand final you must fish a certain quota of local District Matches in your region. This year the match takes place on a fantastic yet unusual venue.......a floating pier !! . The pier extends out i believe upto 1000 metres plus and its only about 2.5 metres wide !!......it can be a little uncomfortable when a boat goes by creating a bow wave. The average depth around the piren is about 1.7 metres.
This year over a 100 anglers were competing in 4 different classes , maybe 5 , can't remember.
The 2 day competition proved to be a disaster with the fish not feeding and no one breaking 10 kilos over the 2 days .
Its longgggggggggggggggg!
Along the pier is a fence which is on the rowing course side
You definately need one of these for the long walk.
On the first day of competition there are things to buy !!!
