Sodertalje is my home town and about 10 minutes from my appartment we have my favourite place on the canal on the opposite side to the Astra Zenica factory. Today i have invited fellow matchmen Fredrik Andersson and Johan Tikkanen for a days fishing. You will remember Johan from a previous article when he fished the Bolo rod. Fredrik you will have seen on previous Whiteacres articles.

Fish hitting the surface everywhere
Still a little dark but no problem setting up. I will fish with a 7m Triana FX whip at 4 metres deep using a 2gram Tamas walter thro bodied 2.5 gram float on 0.17 line with 0.12 bottom connected to a VMC 14s longshank thin gauge. My groundbait mix is a little strange as my seasons supply of Sensas groundbaits has expended.
It was 2kg of Sonu-Baits Green crush with 1kg of Sonu-Baits P competition with third of a bag of Terre le riviere......added some 2mm FIN-perfect pellets and dead maggots.

Nice to catch the odd skimmer ......had some of his big cousins in August (see article)
