We met at 07:00 in the morning and transported the kit about 150 metres from the cars. We both had good pegs with good openings in the bank side vegetation. The weather was cloudy and warm in the beginning but by 10:00AM the sun was fully out.

It turned out to be a disappointing day as the Tench and larger Bream failed to show but with the water being exceptionally clear then the expected result became small fish !
Over a 100 fish but many were very small Bjorkna at 10-20 gr,some bonus fish came in at 80-120gr.......alot of Rudd also with several skimmers and some roach....just 2 Bleak !
Mr.Nudd had quite alot also but concentrated more on the Tench hunting which unfortunately failed to materialize
