6 of us got together for a 5 hour bash on the prolific Norrkoping venue . We were all hopeful of big weights considering that most waters had seen the bream complete their breeding cycle and now the yare expected to feed !? ......but did they ?
Start of the match and it was 10 minutes of pre-bait time ....some feeder and some pole line.
Stefan to my left on peg24 firing a few balls out for the feeder line.
Christer to my right on peg26 also firing a few balls out.
End of the match and Kristian Wallin on peg 21 first to weigh with 20 kilos
On peg 22 was Jenny (Kristians lady) ,she is a a top Swedish ladies angler (The Emma Pickering of Sweden)
Jenny had a respectable 12 kilos
Kent Adell on peg 23 starts his weigh in ....it took 3 weigh ins and the venue master took the best weight with 32 kilos .
Pick of the catch
Kent broke his 11m joint on his brand new Garbolino top of the range pole , the previous week his 13m joint broke !.....unheard of 2 'base' joints breaking ?.....its normally no4's that go first ?
Stefan to my left on peg 24 eased past me in the last 2 hours with 24 kilos
Pick of his catch
Christer to my right on peg 26 had a quiet time for 9 kilos. The previous match here over 2 days had followed form today with the fishing poor too my right . My peg25 (3 times in 3 macthes i drew this ) fishing really well at the start then fading !!
IT WAS STILL A GREAT MATCH ON A GREAT VENUE AND EVEN THOUGH THE VENUE HAS NOT PRODUCED THE 70-110 KILO WEIGHTS LIKE 3 - 5 YEARS AGO ITS ALWAYS A VENUE TO RETURN TO PLUS IT WAS GREAT COMPANY ON THE DAY !
